The Bahamas

Relaxing beachside lounges and beachfront towns is the perfect reason to get out of the cold and travel to the Bahamas this winter. Whether you are traveling as a couple, or bringing along the whole family, there is so much to do and see. With its soft, pure white sand and turquoise water, it is no wonder that the beaches of the Bahamas is recognized as some of the best in the world.

Visitors from all over the world come to experience the scenery and sink their toes into the sand. The water temperature stays at around 80 degrees year round, so water sports are always available. Take the family on a diving adventure and experience underwater caves coral reefs, and inland blue holes.

You don’t have to travel out of the country to experience some warm weather during the winter months. Florida is a great place to escape the cold and there are so many things to do for the entire family! Disney World is always fun for the family and is open year round. Switzerland

Verbier is the premier ski resort in Switzerland with a fun-filled atmosphere. The restaurants offer the best cuisine and you can find English style pubs along with French cafes throughout the whole town. Since the slopes are extremely difficult, you can find some of the best athletes on the mountains. The Murren is another great resort in Switzerland. Since it sits on a rock ledge, this resort can only be accessed by cable cars. The slopes offer over 20 miles of snow and some of the most beautiful landscapes.

Denver, Colorado

There is any snow sport imaginable available in Denver. However, located 5,280 feet above sea level, Denver offers more than just winter sports. There is amazing shopping, delicious new restaurants, and breweries to check out on the Denver Beer Trail. “Linger” is known for having one of America’s coolest rooftop bars selected by Travel + Leisure .

Altah, Utah

The mountains seem to collect snow from every cloud in the sky making it a skiers dream. There seems to always be fresh snow and the terrain is easily accessible. Visitors can check out Shallow Shaft Restaurant which is right across from Alta Ski Resort. They serve great food in an intimate setting.
