Do you consider Vaping to be a good idea when you are pregnant?

Is vaping safe during pregnancy?  Electronic cigarettes are considered to be a safe choice when you are pregnant. It does help you to cut down on smoking when you are pregnant. Vaping while pregnant is a strict no. The precise point of consideration would be that they do put nicotine into your body when you are breastfeeding as well as pregnant.

When you smoke a regular cigarette, by burning tobacco, nicotine reaches out to the lungs. This goes on to create smoke that you end up inhaling. As most of us are that tobacco is a source of toxic chemicals. On the other than the vapour that emerges from an electronic cigarette does contain nicotine which is going to pose grave issues when you do become pregnant. There are traces of chemicals in the form of nickel or chromium that can go on to harm a developing baby.

The sad part is that most of the liquids that you come across in case of electronic cigarettes are not regulated. Most of them are a source of chemicals along with flavouring agents. No research on this topic has been done as of now.

There are a lot of studies that have been conducted and most women do have a sense of misconceptions with electronic cigarettes. Of the woman who was surveyed it was found out that nearly 40 % of women were of the opinion that Vaping and electronic cigarettes were considered to be a safe choice than your regular cigarettes. 61 % left it could be a source of addiction whereas 57 % of them were of opinion that it went on to contain nicotine. Among the part of the study, only 13 % of the masses went on to use e-cigarettes. The main reason why they did go on to use it as they felt that it was safe than regular cigarettes.

Whatever be the point of you nicotine from traditional or electronic cigarettes go on to put nicotine into your body. You cannot consider a safe level of nicotine exposure when you are pregnant. If exposure to nicotine has gone on to take place it would lead to alteration in brain structure in line with premature delivery. If you use tobacco products during pregnancy it can lead to miscarriage, various types of birth defects. The worst part is that nicotine from regular or electronic sources does show up in breast milk as well.

In the world that all of us are part of no woman should smoke. But sadly all of us are not part of such a world and women who smoke do become pregnant as well.  The moment you become pregnant and you are into smoking you need to quit it on an immediate basis. It does make sense to discuss with your health care provider if you are planning to make a switch over to electronic cigarettes. This would be a guideline or help you to cut down on smoking.
