Rohtang Pass – Lying at an altitude of over 3500 meters above sea level on the eastern sides of the Pir Panjal range, the Rohtang Pass is an important road leading to the upper side of Himalayas. Hidimba Devi Temple – One of the major tourist attraction in the region, the Hidimba Devi Temple is located on a small hillock. The temple was constructed in the 16th century and is located amidst dense forest of deodar and pine trees. The temple deity is that of Hidimba Devi, wife of Bhima, one of the five Pandavas as per the epic Mahabharatha. They also had an offspring Ghatotkacha, whose small temple is also located within the temple premise. Only wood have been used in making this beautiful temple.

Solang Valley – The Solang Valley runs the tourism in the valley. With a vast forested region surrounding the valley, Solang Valley is home to several adventure activities like parasailing, trekking, skiing (during winters), zorbing and many more. During summers the entire valley gets engulfed in a green cover which looks really delighting. Winters brings the opportunity of skiing and throwing snowballs at your friends. Nehru Kund – A natural spring originating from the Brighu river, Nehru Kund is located about 5 km from centre of Manali at the highway going towards Leh. It was the first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru who was the inspiration behind naming the spring, as once, in one of his tour in the region he wished to drink the water from the spring. Nehru Kund water is supposed to carry medicinal qualities and you can find many people filling the water in their bottles.
