A feature shot in Conway of Grammy honor winning artist Darius Rucker has been discharged.
The artist published that he shot the feature for his single “Homegrown Honey” amid a show in August.
Rucker told the show swarm that he couldn’t think about a finer spot to film the feature than South Carolina, then sang the melody twice amid the show so groups could get the best footage.
Brent Reser, Social Media & Online Marketing Coordinator at Coastal Carolina University, helped set up shooting that day and wound up with a cameo in the feature, which was discharged Monday, Sept. 29.
“It was a long shoot, however the two seconds I got in that feature made it worth the trouble,” said Reser, who shows up in the feature at the 1:42 imprint. “I messaged a photograph to my family and the first thing my sibling asked me was to what extent it took to Photoshop that.
“I presented a picture on social networking and I’m getting altogether a greater number of preferences and remarks than I do on a typical post.”
Scenes were shot at the Rivertown Bistro in Conway, and in addition at Coastal Carolina University before and amid his sold-out show at the HTC Center on Aug. 23.
One of the individuals sitting at the bar in the feature is likewise appreciating his 15 seconds of popularity. Reser, who got a tweet from Daris Rucker’s record Monday alarming him the feature had been discharged, was extremely satisfied with how the feature turned out.
“It’s certainly a wellspring of pride for the college and truly showcases Coastal Carolina University,” he said. “It’s a major ordeal a craftsman of Darius Rucker’s stature needed to come here and shoot the feature.
“The film group made a decent showing of catching the Chanticleer soul and the soul of Coastal Carolina University. The HTC Center looks incredible and the understudies look great as well.”
